On the interstate, on the way back from Primm, we saw a large billboard advertising "$5 free slotplay and free buffet for new members" You didn't have to tell us twice and in no time we were at the Silverton Lodge Players Club desk signing up.
The free slotplay was great. Kelly won $25 from hers and I lost mine, but it lasted a long time with many small wins
The buffet was very pleasant, it would have been a bargain at the $15 price they were charging if we had to pay for it, but being free it was a real treat. The buffet is priced at the same level as Fremont Street buffets, but in my opinion is of a significantly better quality.
The Silverton Lodge features indoor waterfalls (with ducks and fish) as well as a very large marine aquarium.
The place was very pleasant and had a very calming atmosphere. Drinks service was very good. We would certainly recommend this as a very nice place to spend a relaxing afternoon gambling.
